The first version of MONKEY ran on a 386/33MHz and
I had to insert an idle loop to slow down the text
generator so that it would not fill the screen
faster than you could read. Even on my long dead
Kaypro II (Z80 running at 2MHz) it probably would
have needed slowing down.
